Due to the nature of our environment, we recommend bringing along a light raincoat, insect repellent, strong sneakers, slippers, torchlight and binoculars - all items available locally. For photography, bring flash, telescopic lens & fast film for evenings in the outdoors.

SAFARI INFORMATION
Here are some information about some of the wildlife you will get to see while cruising the River Safari Cruise.

	The *Proboscis Monkey* is distributed and endemic to the coastal mangrove, swamps and riverside forests of Borneo. Proboscis monkeys will be stationed along the river banks of Garama River.
*Macaque*, common name for certain monkeys that live in a great variety of habitats, primarily in Asia. There are many macaques for you to spot along Garama River.
	Asia is the native home of the *Water buffalo*, with 95% of the world population of water buffalo. If you’re lucky, you will be able to see the water buffalo on the way back from your River Safari.
You will be amazed at the sight of thousands of *fireflies* lining along the river banks on the mangrove trees. The mangrove trees will shine like Christmas trees right before your eyes.
