Itinerary

2pm

Pick up at your preferred hotel / spot.
Depart from the Kota Kinabalu on an overland 2 hour drive via the coastal highway Kota Kinabalu/Beaufort towards Garama Village.

4pm – 4.30pm (depends on the traffic)

Arrive at Al-Jo Riverside Café along the Garama River. You would be welcomed with a mid-afternoon tea / coffee with local delicacies. Once you have quite stretched your limbs, prepare yourself for an exciting adventure through the wetlands along the Garama River.

5pm

The cruise will take a pleasant 1 and a half hours approximately. Hop into our boat and cruise down the river, tens of long tailed macaque will greet you along the river side and Proboscis monkeys will be stationed along the river banks.

7pm

Upon your return to Al-Jo Riverside Café, thrill yourself to the spectacular sight of hundreds of fireflies lighting up the trees just like Christmas trees.

7.15pm
 

After watching the fireflies, walk back to Al-Jo Riverside Café where sumptuous traditional Malaysian dinner is served.

8pm
 

Return to Kota Kinabalu after having your dinner.
